About Jeff

Jeff Campoli, M.S. CCC-SLP brings over 11 years experience working with the pediatric population as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and a certified Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).

He earned his Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology at Long Island University (Brooklyn), and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from Burlington College (Vermont). Jeff holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Over the years Jeff has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, public, private and nonprofit schools. He brings extensive experience assessing and treating clients with challenges related to autism spectrum disorders, phonological disorders, articulation and language delays, and traumatic brain injury. He has helped school aged children to improve receptive/expressive language skills, pragmatic language, reading comprehension, inferencing, literacy and organizational writing skills.

Jeff is skilled in implementing alternative/augmentative communication systems, such as Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and dynamic display devices (Proloquo2go, TouchChat, etc.). Jeff believes in a multi-modal approach to learning utilizing play, art, music and literacy-based activities during therapy to help clients achieve their individual goals.

Jeff is a lifelong learner/educator who brings empathy and compassion to working with students as people who are more than the sum of their challenges. He believes in a holistic approach that recognizes and honors collaboration with parents, caregivers, teachers, etc. toward the greater goal of achieving success for his clients.
